Every engagement with High Peaks Group begins here. The Firm Evaluation is a focused, six-week look at how your firm is actually built: where decisions are made, where they stall, and where the structure is quietly working against the people inside it.
What we look at
We examine the operating model as it functions today, not as the org chart describes it. That means the real decision rights, the friction between the practice side and operations, the places where partner time disappears, and the structural strain that growth has introduced.
- How decisions actually get made, and where they get stuck.
- Where the practice and operational sides pull against each other.
- The partnership economics of the drag: time absorbed, decisions delayed, unforced turnover.
- The gap between the firm you were built to be and the firm you have become.
What you get
The Evaluation produces a written report the firm owns. It names the structural picture plainly, grounded in what we heard and saw, and it gives partners a shared, honest read they can act on. The report can stand on its own, or set up the delivery engagement that follows.
Where it leads
Firms that want to go further choose one of two delivery engagements, depending on what the Evaluation finds. When the work is to rebuild the operating model, that is Firm Architecture. When the work is to get the practice and operational sides moving together, that is Firm Alignment.
